The Night Pleasure

tonight I have something to show you!
I baked a lemon & lime pie. It wasn't that of a challenge but, then again, that's not why I cook and bake. It's not made with cheese, so it would be a good option for vegans.

Very basic recipe, still I gave it my own touch.
Doesn't it look delicious?! It has a very basic base, made out of cookies and butter, like cheesecakes. There's no cooking, just needs an hour and a half into the fridge to "get steady". The lime and the lemon combine pretty harmoniously, and the cookie base cuts the sweetness.



I wish I could bake more often, it makes me very happy. I took it to a friend's house, today was not a good day. So all I hope is that I could gave them a little piece of sweet to lighten the day.. Well, the night.


I haven't tasted the final product yet, but this is what remains from it:















Tomorrow I might make another dessert, I opened a can of caramel that I ended up not using. I might get busy again!!

The Attic Cat

Hi there,

I must start by stating the unknown for some, the obvious for others: I live in an attic.

This one here is our lovely yet electric cat, Miau.











He's very popular around here (by here, I mean our very-little-small-house and our families' houses. Everybody seems to think he's very.. Arctic. If you know what I mean.
His latest accomplishment is that he started playing fetch. Yes yes, like our dog!! (Yes, we also have a big dog.. we might say some people call her 'Donkey' due to her appropriate size. Nevertheless, she's adorable!)
We decided on naming him Miau because that's the sound that the portuguese identify as a cat sound. Like the english-american 'Meow'.
He's all ears and tail. There isn't much more of him. He almost ended up as 'Yoda'!

Don't those huge eyes make you want to hug him 'til he's one with yourself??

The New Beggining

Well,

here I go again. New start, new things to write about. Or old ones to write about again.
New and not so new perspectives about new and not so new subjects.

Tons of new things to write about and will probably write about lots of old things, things everyone knows. Perhaps, things that everybody likes to talk about!

I hope I can write about a different amount of topics. I hope, I won't promise.
