tonight I have something to show you!
I baked a lemon & lime pie. It wasn't that of a challenge but, then again, that's not why I cook and bake. It's not made with cheese, so it would be a good option for vegans.
Very basic recipe, still I gave it my own touch.
Doesn't it look delicious?! It has a very basic base, made out of cookies and butter, like cheesecakes. There's no cooking, just needs an hour and a half into the fridge to "get steady". The lime and the lemon combine pretty harmoniously, and the cookie base cuts the sweetness.
I wish I could bake more often, it makes me very happy. I took it to a friend's house, today was not a good day. So all I hope is that I could gave them a little piece of sweet to lighten the day.. Well, the night.
I haven't tasted the final product yet, but this is what remains from it:
Tomorrow I might make another dessert, I opened a can of caramel that I ended up not using. I might get busy again!!
